Join members of the Arts and Exhibits Committee from the University of South Dakota Libraries, as they walk us through a brief history of the committee, the origins and progress of the Bound and Unbound altered book exhibition series, and a deep dive into the works of Bound and Unbound 8. Bound and Unbound 8 was juried by Bratislava, Slovakia-based altered book artist and illustrator, Isobelle Ouzman. Ouzman is widely known for her work on the covers of Alice with a Why by Anna James and The Whisperwicks series, published by Simon & Schuster. The exhibition is now on view at the I.D. Weeks Library through Jan. 5, 2026.
