Art Installation - "Seven: The Sky Above"

Amy Fill, University Art Galleries Exhibitions Preparator and Collections Curator has assembled a site specific installation on the wall between the 2nd and 3rd floor at the south side of the stair case in the University Libraries. Fill used pages from withdrawn books from the Libraries to create a Stratocumulus cloud (according to Luke Howard's 1802 "Essay on the Modification of Clouds").

Rivers, Wings and Sky exhibit

What:   Art Exhibit

Where: University Libraries Gallery, 1st Floor Academic Commons

When: January 13, 2014 - May 10, 2014

This collaborative exhibit of Nancy Losacker's mosaics and Norma Wilson's poems will feature gallery talks and readings by the artist and poet in an OLLI session, January 21, from 3-4:30 p.m. in room 205 and at a reception, April 17, from 4:30-6 p.m. all located in the University Libraries.

We now provide access to the Philosopher's Index on the EBSCO platform:

It is a current and comprehensive bibliographic database covering scholarly research in all major fields of philosophy.
