Social Work Video Trial

Starting January 12th, we will be trialing Social Work videos through Alexander Street Press.  The trial will run for two weeks.

The Social Work Video Bundle is a small video collection of 34 lectures and instructional programs, custom-built for social work students.

This compilation of seminars, group discussions, and informational programs provides a thorough introduction to social work as a field and a career. In the videos, seasoned professionals engage such topics as the foundational theories of social work, the basics of case management, appropriate behavior around clients, how to lead a group session, and the intricacies of interacting with social services agencies. The bundle also explains case management for a wide-range of clients, from those who are chemically dependent to those who have been institutionalized or are on probation.

Featured Titles include: Faces of Change: Social Work in the New Millennium, Case Management: Linking Client With Resources, Contracting Home-Based Services, Becoming a Social Worker: Real Students, Real Clients, Real Growth, and Welfare to Work: Through Mothers' Eyes.
