Current subscription to Annual Reviews Cancelled

The publisher, Annual Reviews (AR), introduced a new pricing structure as of January 2018 which would increase our AR subscription cost by 19%. USD librarians needed to seriously consider the continuation of our subscription to this resource because a typical increase for an ongoing subscriptions is 3-6 %. USD Libraries made the decision to cancel AR.

Access to volumes published prior to 2018 will remain available. For content published after January 1, 2018, users can generally obtain articles via interlibrary loan. Much of the health and medicine related content becomes available in PubMed Central (PMC) after a 6 – 12 month embargo.
