Break the Silence

Break the Silence exhibit was created by assistant professor of social work Shirley Fineran, OSF, of Briar Cliff University.  The exhibit focuses on modern-day slavery in the form of sex and labor trafficking in our communities. The goal of the exhibit is to raise awareness, consciousness and visibility of human trafficking.

The exhibit is on display in the Libraries' first floor gallery until Oct. 11.

The exhibit is in conjunction with an event next week on Human Trafficking in SD: An Advocate's Perspective.  Wednesday Sept. 27  6:30-8 pm in Farber Hall, Old Main.
